About This Trip

New Zealand is a set of islands crammed with dramatic contrasts and on this trip you will get to explore them all in extreme comfort. With a small group of 20, you will explore all that New Zealand has to offer, travelling between the highlights on your small luxury coach in incredibly comfortable ‘business class’ seats. With a hand-picked blend of 4 and 5-star hotels, you will sink into luxury at the end of each exciting day, providing a way to explore New Zealand in ultimate comfort.

Your tour begins on the South Island where you will explore its peaks and take to the seas to drink in the incredible Milford Sound. With time in Queenstown, Christchurch and Dunedin, you will get to find out what makes the South Island tick and join in with the rhythms of its people. You will discover the drama of Fox Glacier, Mt Cook and discover Arthur’s Pass onboard the TranzAlpine Express, one of the world’s greatest rail journeys.

As you head to the North Island the scenery and focus switches. Time spent in Auckland and Wellington will allow you to find your way around these beautiful, modern cities, but the real beauty in the North Island lies in nature.  You will explore the bubbling mud and powerful geysers of Rotorua before heading to the glorious Bay of Islands where you will cruise in search of the perfect beach, travelling through different idyllic coves, pausing to swim with the stunning array of marine life.

highlights

We created this trip with luxury firmly in mind. We wanted to make sure that when you set out to explore New Zealand, you were getting not only a unique tour experience, but also that you got the best places available to lay your head at the end of the day. This is a small group of maximum 20 people, so the attention is firmly focused on each individual. Add to this your incredibly comfortable ‘business class’ seats on your luxury coach and you have the last word in comfort.

We also wanted to delve deep into the history of this great country and as with all things in New Zealand, this involves contrast. We give you an in-depth understanding of Maori culture and history by visiting Waitangi Treaty Grounds and Te Puia where we will experience a traditional Mãori Hãngi. We also delve into the culture of the settlers in New Zealand, exploring the Scottish heritage of the south coast.

Contrast is what it is all about on this trip. On two different boat trips, you will experience the deep, dramatic waters of the Milford Sound and the vibrant tropical beaches of Bay of Islands. You will visit imposing mountain peaks and wide open plains, the excitable city of Queenstown and the chilled atmosphere of Wellington. With this trip, you will see it all, resting easy every night in ultimate comfort.
