Its location is one of the world’s best for lovers of the noble grape, so we wanted to include a tour that really catered to your tastes. For those who like subtle, refined wines, we crafted a tour around Adelaide Hills to showcase their wide array of styles. If big, bold, rich explosions of red magic is more your thing, then flip a coin between McLaren Vale and Barossa. Whatever you choose, the focus is on the natural resources, with wine at the heart, but a discovery of the foods and alternative beverages adds so much depth to the tour.  

Despite being surrounded by wine lands, Adelaide is also so close to the outback and we wanted to allow our guests to get out and explore this wonder of nature. We want you to get a feel for what it is like to live out here and to discover the Aboriginal way of life that works in tangent with the wild beauty of the outback. With a visit to Swan Reach township, an immersive visit to the Sunnydale Woolshed Show and a nature cruise in a flat-bottomed tender boat, you will explore how settlers have tamed the land. A visit to the enchanting and culturally important Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal reserve will allow you a window into the physical and dream lives of the original inhabitants of this area. Fascinating and moving, it adds depth to a tour that is packed with wonder.  

Your accommodation in Adelaide is situated in the thriving west end, a short 30-minute bus journey from the airport. Private transfers can also be arranged. We have arranged a coach to collect you from your accommodation to meet with the PS Murray Princess at Mannum, and return you to accommodation or the airport at the end of the cruise.
