Your daily drives will focus on the wildlife and geology of this unbelievable region of the planet, setting your eyes on places that few people on earth have ever seen. Your expert drivers and guides will ensure you get every opportunity to watch the world's greatest predator at work and play, observing as much polar bear behaviour as they possibly can.

Tundra Buggy Lodge - Polar Bear Point
There are very few places in the world that are truly untouched and nature remains in its completely original form. The frozen north of Manitoba in Canada is one of these places. Not only is it spectacular, but it is one of the best spots on the planet to watch polar bears in their natural habitat. Getting out into this landscape is an issue, but with the wonderful team at Tundra Buggy Lodge, we have overcome this.
The Lodge itself is a luxury bunkhouse, which may sound contradictory, but bear with us. This is bunk accommodation like no other, with inbuilt cabin beds, each with a sound-blocking curtain and the ability to adjust the temperature in your own pod. The whole lodge is so geared towards observing polar bears that it is actually made from a series of Tundra Buggies, so it is able to relocate, depending on where the best polar bear sightings are. The lodge is also geared towards learning and relaxing, with several different types of observatories, huge lounges and theatres where you can relax over wine with your fellow arctic explorers before settling down to fascinating presentations from leading experts in the world of polar bears.
Location is everything on this trip. It kicks off in the delightful city of Winnipeg, where you will check in to the delightful Lakeview Signature airport hotel. After a meet and greet with your tour leader, you will jump on a plane and head out to the remote outpost of Churchill, Manitoba. After a day exploring and a night here, you will then head out to the wild Tundra Buggy Lodge for a couple of nights of polar delight before being transferred back to the airport and flying back down to Winnipeg where the tour comes to an end.
We have hand-selected some outstanding hotels for this trip to ensure your polar adventure is not only exciting and eye-opening but comfortable and relaxing. Facilities marked with an asterisk are only available at the Tundra Buggy Lodge.
