The highlights in Japan are crazy. Honestly, we could just write about one district in Tokyo for this and you would be more than satisfied with the highlights you have seen, but we have packed in so much more on this incredible trip.  

Tokyo and Kyoto are obvious highlights. Intense, dynamic cities that with their massive populations should seem overcrowded and uncomfortable, but in reality are full of pleasant green spaces, hidden shrines and not the crowds that you are expecting. Unless of course, you decide to get on a rush-hour train, which is a great cultural experience in itself! The amount of things to see and do in these two landmark cities are genuinely endless, so it's just about figuring out what is best for you and zeroing in on those particular highlights.  

However, what we really love about this trip is the stops in Kawaguchiko, Kanazawa and Takayama. Lesser known, but filled with cultural riches and a much more laid-back pace of life, your time here will hark back to the older, more traditional side of Japan. Soaking in an Onsen with views of Mt Fuji, strolling through Kanazawa’s Higashi Chaya district, with its wooden shuttered tea houses, or sampling sake straight from the brewery in the laid-back streets of Takayama, this is a part of Japan that not many choose to see, but you will never forget

Your trip begins in Tokyo, where you have a couple of days to pack in everything you can. From there, you travel via Kawaguchiko, up to Takayama. Then it is on to Kanazawa before heading down to Kyoto to finish off your trip in style.

• There is no minimum age for this tour as long as minors are travelling with an adult
• Adult rates are 13+years old 
• Child rates are available on a request basis for children aged 3-12yrs

• The minimum number for this tour to commence is one person

Passport & visa requirements

• All visitors require a passport with a minimum validity of 3 months beyond your return travel date is required for all passengers (including children and infants)
• It is the visitor's responsibility to ensure they are holding the correct and current visa for the countries they are visiting
• If the visitor is a non-Australian passport holder, a valid re-entry visa may be required
• Important: Please start arranging your visa at least 6-8 weeks prior to departure to account for any delays due to consulate operating hours and processing times

Transfers

• You will be transferred to/from the airport at each end of the trip and from location to location, however, you will have to make your own way to the bus stops within each city to meet your bus.

Availability

• All DealsAway trips are available on a request-only basis and are subject to availability. Once booked you should receive a payment confirmation and receipt via email, followed by a booking confirmation normally within 72hrs of making a booking, sometimes this can take a little longer subject to supplier delay

• In the event that your trip is unavailable on the dates you have chosen, we will contact you by telephone to advise the next available dates
  
  

Surcharges

• Any prices quoted exclude specific costs/measures which may be introduced at a later stage as a result of Government changes due to COVID-19 health and safety restrictions. DealsAway will inform its guests of these changes as soon as possible, these additional charges will be passed on by DealsAway to the guest
  
  

AMENDMENTS & CHANGES

Name change or corrections
