This is not just popping into a winery, this is travelling with a knowledgeable guide, who knows the wineries, farms and their creators, who can give you the behind the scenes tour and pull out that special bottle that is not just for everyone. 

We also wanted to make sure that your accommodation matched the aesthetic of the tour perfectly and finding the luxury pods in Wynward made us jump for joy. You can’t possibly believe that these are shipping containers once you are inside! Such opulence and with views to die for, they are the perfect location to relax after a tough day of eating and drinking.

On this trip, we pick you up either from the airport in Launceston, or the incredible accommodation we suggest for pre/post nights, which you can see more on below. After this, you need not lift a finger, except to bring some sumptuous morsel to your lips as we will whisk you over the main food-producing areas of Tasmania before dropping you back off at the end, exactly where you started. 

Wynward Coastal Pods

Up-cycled from decommissioned shipping containers, the Coastal Pods offer a unique take on self-contained accommodation. Situated on the banks of the Inglis River in North West Tasmania, the sun fills these unique luxury escape pods, offering a seaside sanctuary from which to while away some downtime.

The pods provide the ultimate in contemporary self-contained accommodation with each pod containing two bedrooms, lounge/dining area, galley kitchen, reading nook and laundry. However, it’s all the little luxuries that really make a stay at Coastal Pods an experience to remember, the soaring central atrium, the huge glass and container doors that open onto the deck and connect you with a view out over the river.

• If the visitor is a non-Australian passport holder, a valid re-entry visa may be required.

Fitness requirements

• Travellers should have a good level of physical fitness and mobility. They must be able to negotiate uneven surfaces and in some cases climb stairs

• Any dietary requirements must be received by DealsAway at least 30 days prior to your scheduled departure date. Failure to provide these details by this date may result in an inability to cater for your requirements
• In most cases DealsAway can cater for special dietary requirements but please note that on occasion, this may not be possible due to location, lack of availability of ingredients, and other extenuating circumstances. It is always advised to carry supplies with you

Please note that while we operate successful tours in this region throughout the year, some changes may be necessary due to inclement weather, public holidays, common seasonal changes to timetables and transport routes, and unforeseen circumstances. This can happen with little notice so please be prepared for modifications to the route. The order and timing of included activities may also vary from time to time
  
  

Availability

• All DealsAway trips are available on a request only basis and are subject to availability. Once booked you should receive a payment confirmation and receipt via email, followed by a booking confirmation normally within 72hrs of making a booking, sometimes this can take a little longer subject to supplier delay

• In the event that your trip is unavailable for the dates you have chosen we will contact you by telephone to advise the next available dates
  
  

Surcharges

• Any prices quoted exclude specific costs/measures which may be introduced at a later stage as a result of Government changes due to COVID-19 health and safety restrictions. Behaviour

• Please be aware that the booking conditions state that your holiday can be terminated, with no refund, if the behaviour of you or any members of your travelling party does not meet an acceptable standard.
