The adventure of a lifetime awaits as we delve deep into the raw beauty, unbelievable history and wonderful cultures of five of the most amazing countries in South America. Discover Chile, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil on this 17-day tour where the highlights come thick and fast.
Start this epic journey in Santiago, capital of Chile, exploring what makes this easy-going city work and taking a trip up one of the surrounding mountains to witness Santiago laid out before you. From here it is an immersion in Peruvian life that awaits as we fly up to Lima, exploring here before transferring to Cusco to start the Incan part of our adventure. With so many ancient sites around Cusco, you will start to get a feel for the ancient ways of the Incan people before heading up to one of the major highlights of the tour, the extraordinary Machu Picchu. After exploring this fascinating temple we will then head down to Lake Titicaca, to visit its uncanny floating islands.
After a real immersion in Peru, we cross the border into the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca, visiting the extraordinary islands of the sun and moon and their unique ancient worship sites. We continue into Bolivia with a stay in La Paz, definitely a unique city. Slightly wilder than its neighbours, La Paz appears to be crazy, but is actually perfectly safe. It wears its heart on its sleeve and is a must-visit city on any tour of South America.
Then from Bolivia, we fly down to arguably the most beautiful capital in South America, Buenos Aires. Wandering through crazy colourful La Boca, or watching genuine couples dance the tango on the streets of San Telmo is a beautiful experience. Nowhere you will find more interested, friendly people, living a life fueled by art and beauty.
From Argentina, we head to the powerful meeting point of three countries, Iguazu Falls. Bordering Argentina, Bolivia and Brazil, these mighty falls are an undeniable highlight of this trip, a place you can never forget. Then we finish off this journey with some time in the vibrant Rio de Janeiro, exploring its highlights, its people and its food.
A South American adventure like no other.
