Without really trying, this tour focuses on discovering this element of tranquillity. Even within the thriving cities, we will take you to the temples and palaces, the parks and riversides where people slow their lives down and where mindfulness is the constant state of being. You will ride through a quiet corner of the Mekong Delta on bikes, blending in with the gentle pace of rural life. You will head out to My Son, ancient temple ruins enclosed by lush jungle, a little off-the-beaten-track spot that, despite its beauty, not many tourists visit. 

And of course, there is the wonder of Halong Bay. To sail through this picturesque seascape is to take a voyage through an otherworldly landscape that you will never forget.

Your trip kicks off in Ho Chi Minh City, where your guide will collect you from the airport and take you to your hotel in the heart of the city. With this as your base, you will spend a whole day exploring the city and head out to the Mekong Delta, before catching an internal flight up to Hoi An. After spending a couple of days exploring Hoi An and My Son, you will fly up to Hanoi. From here you will explore the city and be transferred to your incredible exploration of Halong Bay, before being returned to Hanoi airport where your trip will come to an end.

Passport & visa requirements

Health & vaccination

• As border restrictions for countries begin to ease, being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will maximise the number of locations you can visit. So whilst you are not legally required to be vaccinated, and it’s also not a requirement to travel with us, it will limit some of the countries that you can visit and may make it harder to travel for the next 12-18 months.
• We highly recommend our travellers to look at the current travel restrictions of their destination, speak with a medical professional at least 30 days before departure or get in touch with our team for travel advice.
• Health care such as a doctor’s surgery, dentist and optometrists may not always be accessible on this tour
• It is advised that you ensure you have adequate health insurance cover as part of your travel insurance

Fitness requirements

Transfers

• You will collected from Ho Chi Minh City Airport and returned to Hanoi Airport. Between these, you will be transferred along the tour route.

Availability

• All DealsAway trips are available on a request-only basis and are subject to availability. Once booked you should receive a payment confirmation and receipt via email, followed by a booking confirmation normally within 72hrs of making a booking, sometimes this can take a little longer subject to supplier delay

Surcharges

• Any prices quoted exclude specific costs/measures which may be introduced at a later stage as a result of Government changes due to COVID-19 health and safety restrictions.
