Staying on the slopes of Mt Etna is a pretty surreal experience, knowing that a powerful volcano is working right below your feet. However, it is pretty easy to get over that idea for two reasons. As your journey continues through the picturesque landscapes of Taormina, where the ancient Greek Theatre and the stunning views from Piazza IX Aprile await you. In Taormina, the Corso Umberto, a bustling street lined with luxury boutiques and fine dining options, offers an authentic taste of Sicilian life.

The final leg of the journey brings you to Palermo, a city boasting a rich tapestry of history and culture. Here, you'll explore architectural marvels like the Palace of the Normans and Palermo Cathedral, and enjoy a unique street food tour, revealing the city's vibrant culinary scene. Your trip begins in Catania, where you will collect your car before driving up to the slopes of Mt Etna for your first overnight. The following day you will explore Mt Etna and Taormina before returning to your agriturismo for another night. You then head down the coast to visit Syracuse where you will take a day trip to visit Noto and Marzamemi. You then begin along the south coast, visiting Ragusa, Agrigento, Alcamo and Marsala before heading up the west coast to finish in the glorious city of Palermo.

• As border restrictions for countries begin to ease, being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will maximise the number of locations you can visit. • We highly recommend our travellers to look at the current travel restrictions of their destination, speak with a medical professional at least 30 days before departure or get in touch with our team for travel advice.
• Health care such as a doctor’s surgery, dentist and optometrists may not always be accessible on this tour

GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS

The rental of vehicles from the company selected by our travel service provider or its affiliates or

Licensees are governed by these general rental terms and conditions, including the privacy policy; the rental agreement will be signed by the customer at the time of pickup. The customer, by signing the

rental agreement, declares that he/she has read and accepted the general rental terms and conditions

and that he/she has approved them. All car models are provided as a guide only and may be substituted

by others with similar characteristics. Minimum age for rental varies from 21 to 25 years with a driver's

license obtained at least 1 to 2 years ago, maximum age 70 years old (age limits valid only for rental

of intermediate/compact category cars) A driver's license and possession of a credit card by the

customer are a mandatory condition for car rental. Electronic type credit cards are not accepted.

Insurance and surcharges must be paid locally by credit card. A security deposit will be required on

the credit card at the time of rental. The owner and/or driver must be the holder of the credit card

used for the rental.

RENTAL CATEGORY

Intermediate car category included in packages unless otherwise noted. The car rental company

reserves the right to replace the car with a model of similar or higher category. It may be possible to

upgrade the car category at the time of booking or later at the time of booking or later at the rental

desk, again subject to availability. -Pickup and drop-off details are given in each program.

DRIVER'S LICENSE

Drivers must have at least one year of driving experience and present a valid driver's license issued in

their state/country of residence. The driver's license must be in Latin characters. Otherwise, clients

must provide an international driving permit and a sworn translation of their driver's license.

PETROLEUM

Please note that cars are picked up with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank of fuel.

CHILD SEAT

Is never included. it will be possible to add extra.

PARKING TIP

Parking space is never included. Considered hotels have adjacent parking lots or garages available.
